Here's a pic of Marley's, at 515 Ponce (next to the Shell station). Compliments of our friend the Post Pessimist. We can't, for the life of us, remember Marley's ever being open, though it still has a little wooden sign in the window and some Googling seems to indicate that it was once a music venue.
Does anyone out there know the story on this place?
And here's a link to some of Post Pessimist's other adventures on Ponce (Oh, the Clermont!)

I don't remember it ever being open in my 10 years on Ponce.
I've lived on Bonaventure Ave since 1991 and am an Atlanta native....I have a vague memory of being a child in the 60s and there being a club on Ponce in that area called Hot 'Lanta that was a popular rock club of the time...Marley's rings a bell, too....
Not sure if this helps but in the 1930's 515 Ponce was a radio repair shop :) I've also noticed that sign but never seen anything open in the spot. Fulton Assessor appraises the land and building at under $300K which seems awfully low.
